How Spray Foam Insulation Gulfport Works
Spray Foam Insulation Gulfport insulates and air seals homes, camps, garages and metal buildings from Gulfport west to Long Beach, Pass Christian, Bay St. Louis and Waveland, and north into Lyman, Saucier and Wiggins. We spray open-cell and closed-cell foam, blow loose-fill insulation, encapsulate crawl spaces and pull out old insulation that has gone wet, moldy or flat.
Every job starts with a visit. We climb into the attic, check what is already up there and how deep it is, look at the air handler, the duct runs and the roof decking, and note anything that would be a problem to cover up: roof leaks, stained sheathing, rot, rodent nests, wiring that needs attention. If the house sits on a crawl space or piers, we look underneath too. On the coast, heat and humidity work on a house from the top and the bottom at the same time, so we want to see both before we suggest anything.
Then you get a written quote. Each area gets its own line: what material, how thick, what R-value that gives, and the price. When two approaches would both work, for example foam on the roof deck versus sealing the ceiling and blowing in more fill, we price both so you can decide.
What we hold ourselves to
- See it first. No phone quotes for spray foam. Thickness, access and prep change the number too much.
- Seal, then insulate. Gaps around plumbing, wiring, chases and the attic hatch get closed before insulation goes over them.
- Keep the house clean. Floors and belongings get covered, work areas get closed off, and we tell you how long to stay out after foam is sprayed.
- Respect termite season. Formosan termites are established in Harrison and Hancock counties, so we leave inspection access where it matters and talk it through before foaming sills or foundation walls.
- Changes in writing. Work starts after you approve the quote. If something changes once we open things up, we agree on it in writing first.
Who we work for
Homeowners whose upstairs rooms never cool down. People rebuilding or adding on who want the walls and roof deck insulated before drywall. Owners of raised homes with cold, damp floors in winter and sticky floors in summer. Anyone with a metal shop that drips when the weather turns. Buyers whose inspection report flagged thin or damaged insulation.
